The African American Committee of
Dade Heritage Trust cordially invites
you to attend the 19th Annual
Commemorative Service and 4th Annual
Youth Talent on Parade program in honor
of Miami’s most historic cemetery.
Community groups and people of all
faiths are invited to participate in this multicultural, multiracial event.
J.B. Carr, an African American incorporator of the City of Miami, and
Franklin B. Bain, a member of the African American Committee of Dade
Heritage Trust who passed away in 2011, will be remembered. Winners
of the Essay Contest on the topic, “Why I am Proud of My Heritage,”
will be announced. For more
