The Redland Riot Road Rallye

Dade Heritage Trust is proud to co-sponsor Rob Burr’s Redland Riot Road Rallye on Saturday, January 15, starting at Cauley Square at 10am. Cauley Square is located at US 1 and SW 224 Street.  The Redland Riot tour emphasizes a few remaining historical destinations and encourages us to enjoy the simple pleasures of the seasonal bounty while helping us to re-discover the rural charm of a century ago. DHT is working with Miami-Dade County, organizations and individuals to seek funding to update the 1993 Redland Preservation and Tourism Plan which could provide a road map for ensuring the Redland’s future as South Florida’s agritourism center. It all starts with education (and fun) — and there is not a more delightful way to educate people about the importance and uniqueness of the Redland region than enjoying this whimsical, fruity, tropical history tour and scavenger hunt!
