February 10: A Walk Through Our Neighborhoods – The Bahamian Roots of Miami

NWD Projects, GirlTrek Overtown, and Dade Heritage Trust are building bridges with “A Walk Through Our Neighborhoods”, a series of interactive environmental walks through three of Miami’s most historic communities, culminating on April 20th with National Water Dance at Biscayne Nature Center on Key Biscayne.  Join us as we honor our unique cultures and shared histories and celebrate our interconnectedness. Join us on February 10, at 8am for “The Bahamian Roots of Miami”, a walk through Coconut Grove.  Meet at Lil Bahamas Straw Market – 3659 Grand Avenue.
