Historic Homestead Town Hall Museum

The Historic Homestead Town Hall Museum was honored for its preservation and advocacy efforts. Born from the near demolition of its building in 1980, it now safeguards Homestead’s legacy. Originally serving as municipal offices and a meeting space from 1917 to 1975, it transitioned into a museum in 1994. Saved by passionate locals, it now houses artifacts and photographs illustrating Homestead’s history. Situated at 41 North Krome Avenue, the museum’s mission is to collect, preserve, and display materials of historical significance for present and future generations. The museum stands as a beacon of preservation, education, and advocacy, enriching understanding of Homestead’s past.
