April 20: A Walk Through Our Neighborhoods – National Water Dance

NWD Projects, GirlTrek Overtown, and Dade Heritage Trust are building bridges with “A Walk Through Our Neighborhoods”, a series of interactive environmental walks through three of Miami’s most historic communities. Join us as we honor our unique cultures and shared histories and celebrate our interconnectedness. On April 20 at 4pm, we present our final walk for this season at Biscayne Nature Center in Crandon Park.  The walk will be a part of National Water Dance, a performance of music and dance embedded along the trails and on the beach.  This is a simultaneous performance across the United States bringing attention to and engagement with climate change and its effects on our waters. Biscayne Nature Center is at 6767 Crandon Boulevard.
