Brickell Neighborhood Walking Tours – The Architecture of Brickell

Dade Heritage Trust’s offices are in the middle of Brickell – a little historic urban paradise complete with a native garden, birds, bees and butterflies. We operate a Visitors’ Center, too – making DHT the perfect location for walks to explore the dynamic Brickell neighborhood. While seemingly new, Brickell is one of Miami’s earliest neighborhoods where symbols of Miami history mix with contemporary development, Biscayne Bay and the Miami River.
Join us on these great guided walking tours to learn more about our neighborhood on select Saturdays at 10am. Meet at DHT’s offices at 190 SE 12 Terrace, Miami for the walks:
Saturday, February 5: The Architecture of Brickell – The Brickell neighborhood has some amazing contemporary buildings designed by acclaimed architects from around the globe as well as some remnants from the early days! This tour on Brickell Avenue north to the Miami River is all about architecture and the transformation of Brickell to a high-rise financial and residential district. This tour repeats on Saturday, June 11.
