Dade Heritage Trust Summertime Talks: The Commodore Trail

This summer, escape the heat on a Saturday at Dade Heritage Trust’s lovely historic headquarters and learn about the neighborhood! Dade Heritage Trust provides refreshment and a cool setting to learn about Miami’s hottest neighborhood. Admission includes drinks and light bites.
Our September 28 talk is about The Commodore Trail, a bike trail that begins in Brickell and ends in the south Grove! The talk will be accompanied by an exhibit about the trail, its history and future.
Bike Coconut Grove has initiated this project designed to engage the community in helping to achieve the major goal of completing the Commodore Trail. This neglected five-mile recreational facility has the potential to be Coconut Grove’s crowning jewel, but it’s a mess–and in many places it’s dangerous for all users. The exhibit was created by architecture students at FIU!
