The Miami Circle on the south bank of the Miami River was a Tequesta Indian ceremonial space, saved from development in the 1990’s. It’s a great story, an amazing venue – yet few know the facts behind the history, archeology and advocacy efforts that protected this valuable piece of property fronting the mouth of the Miami River. Great waterfront walk!
Tour starts at Dade Heritage Trust at 190 SE 12 Terrace at 10am.
Street parking is available. Free with required registration. Donations accepted!
