Dade Heritage Trust invites you to join historian and artist Willie Keddell for an informative tour of the historic buildings in the City of Miami’s Lummus Park. Located at 360 NW 3 Street, Lummus Park, the first park in the City of Miami, is home to the 1855 Wagner Homestead and the 1848 slave quarters/Fort Dallas barracks. Both buildings were moved to the park several years ago to ensure their preservation. They have been expertly curated by Dade Heritage Trust and are used in DHT’s Historic Places, Green Spaces educational programs. Mr. Keddell’s tours will offer a rare opportunity to the public to explore two of Miami’s most significant, historic buildings. FREE! Tours are on the hour and offered at 10am, 11am, noon and 1pm. Meet in front of the Wagner Homestead in Lummus Park.
